Wednesday, April 12th, Slow Flow Yoga class
10:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. This slow-flow class follows a classic Vinyasa flow format, with short, interconnected
sequences. Each short sequence is followed by a period of stillness. Sequences will include standing, seated, back-
bending, side-bending, twisting, and inverted postures. You’ll need to bring your own yoga mat and yoga blanket; other

Friday, April 14th, Finding My Feet mini-workshop
9:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. We become more unaware of our feet as we age, except when they begin to stiffen, or let us
know they are hurting. Foot problems can be exacerbated by unsupportive shoes as well as genetics. During this short
time together we will explore ways to stretch and exercise the feet, find a better sense of grounding, talk about how foot
problems can cause mis-alignment elsewhere in the body, and look at ways to improve balance - which begins with the
feet. You’ll need to bring your own yoga mat, yoga blanket, two medium weight facecloths, and one standard tennis

Wednesday, August 16th, Juicy Joints
9:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. Are you conscious of how the body’s joints work to connect and interact with bones, tendons and
ligaments? And the importance of maintaining healthy joints to support older bones? From toes to nose, the ‘motion is
the lotion’. We’ll work through a simple sequence of joint movements beginning at the feet and working up to the head.
This class will be recorded for download by attendees after the class. You’ll need to bring your own yoga mat and yoga
blanket. Other props available on-site.
